UK News: In May, pupils at Cardinal Newman Catholic School learnt about the work of the ICT in a presentation led by Alison Sanderson (ICT Executive) and Janet Vaughan (Birmingham Justice and Peace Commission). Thanks to Mr Rhys Davies and the fundraising efforts of the children.
ICT Response: In August 2024, floods hit Bangladesh and emergency aid ceased. Families were affected, losing their homes and livelihoods. ICT partnered with BISAP to provide warm clothing and blankets to families in three villages in the Chattogram District.
ICT News: KEOOGO Nursery staff have successfully established the provision of daily nutritious meals for children, set up strategies for early learning and gathered the necessary tuition materials for 115 children.
ICT News: SARTHI’s inspiring work with children and parents in the Education Centre continues to thrive! The Centre enthusiastically supports parents through its monthly Rights Awareness sessions, empowering them with knowledge and confidence.
ICT News: SERVE SAPLINGS Nursery encourages learning and play in its pre-school curriculum, helping low income children progress towards eventual entry into school. Here, they were blindfolded and challenged to guess where to place the elephant’s tusk!
ICT News: St Josephine Bakhita Children's Home has successfully installed a bore hole for refugee children in Pabbo. It is powered by a solar pump, providing for the Home's electricity and cultivation needs. Thanks to the fundraisers of St Elizabeth's Church of Coventry.
