This weekend we had to say a sudden and unexpected good-bye to our very best boy of 14 years, Noodle. Now he can be running around and swimming without pain. 💙 https://t.co/cnoNTR84ch
This happened today. Braydon completed his journey at Bangor Township Schools and his first steps toward Michigan Tech. Where does the time go? https://t.co/NBiiGnKLzS
@NicholasFerroni Though it’s hard to watch my daughter’s history teacher push his Trumpism during class and force kids to declare their political side in the name of teaching. Civil rights is not political but spreading hate and lies should not be ok under the guise of political debate.
Teaching today is not like teaching after 9/11. After 9/11 we did not have large parts of America that supported the terrorists. There was no tiptoeing around calling them terrorists. The President at the time came out to support and positively lead the American people.
This is certainly a time I wish I could be with my coworkers tomorrow. Teaching from home, in a pandemic, after an act of insurrection is so much to deal with alone and there’s no one to process how to handle it in school tomorrow. I’m at a loss.
@Porsha4real was arrested twice this summer for peacefully protesting. It’s recorded, she’s outside, she’s peaceful. How did these people even get to the building, let alone in and destructive? Today was despicable.
