@NetsDaily Last ten or so newest owners, it's a lot of disasters. Wolves are an exception but after them plus the three you listed, next up is the Hornets dumping Lonzo, Mavs who dumped Luka, Suns owner ruined a rising franchise, and Jazz oversaw a tank so egregious it forced a rule change
@HPbasketball I feel like there's a simple fix. Freeze teams records at a certain point, say 60ish games, then invert the standings for the remainder of the year. This way the bad teams still get most of the year to improve their odds while remaining incentivized to compete later in the year.
@LAN84252@WorldWideWob Seth and Draymond are both across, practically in step with each other. They had plenty of time to commit the foul and remain ahead of the final 3 minutes, they didn't need to rush it.
@LAN84252@ChewieWoolf@WorldWideWob That's all anyone really needed to say, that he mistakenly thought he had a foul to give. Instead, they were making this odd suggestion that what Christie did was a logical decision that didn't merit questioning.
@ChewieWoolf@WorldWideWob It's objectively a weird decision. Can you recall ever seeing an intentional foul to give up free throws to a good shooter in that situation just to get a timeout? I'm not even saying its tanking but we don't need to pretend it isn't weird and doesn't merit questioning.
@ChewieWoolf@WorldWideWob Take a look at where Draymond is when we get the under the hoop angle, the ball isn't even near half court. They can very easily get that foul off on a worse free throw shooter.
@WorldWideWob Even if it was just to get the timeout, why are you fouling Seth instead of Bassey or Draymond? They had 15 seconds before the clock hit 3 minutes, it's not like they just had to rush to foul the first guy they could. Not saying it's tanking but how do we make that make sense?
@tomhaberstroh I feel like there's a simple fix. Freeze teams records at the end of February and then invert the standings for the remainder of the year. This way the bad teams still get most of the year to improve their odds while remaining incentivized to compete later in the year.
@TheBillsGuys Josh Allen didn't lose the award because his team had a worse record, he lost it because he turned the ball over 20+ times last year. Surely you recognize that claiming he was better "every category" while ignoring that is wildly dishonest, right?
