Funny that the last time I built a comics reader for my own website was back in 2013 for my older comic BattleWorld.
Building your own platform is still the way to go.
Every other site/platform is ultimately a feeder to having a more direct relationship to us as a brand.
I feel more confident in this approach than ever before and everything is always going to route back to my home base going forward.
Congrats @JarlanPerez & @CardilloSamuel and all @RTFKT that worked on Project Phoenix for a long time. Now all Clone X holders become part of the RTFKT Creator Program, accessing so many more licensed materials for creative joy ahead! A community empowered is a community of joy.
Gonna be focusing on NYCC prep next two days and then the show itself.
Gonna be maximizing time networking with fellow indie creators, web3 brands that show up, and connecting with @goofyfroot fans on the show floor.
Exhibiting again just wasn't in the cards for us this year but I'm confident we'll be back to the con circuit soon with an energy like never before.
Spent the year putting together so many pieces of our digital strategy all while battling dem personal life demons, and now we're here and the future is brighter than ever for the Frootiverse.
Next issue of @goofyfroot is officially in the can.
Now in full prep mode for our Kickstarter.
This is going to be our first Kickstarter since 2016 so everything feels brand new again.
It's a bit terrifying but this really isn't something that can wait a moment longer than it has to.
Its time to launch.
What're we working on rn at studio @goofyfroot?
Emails flows
Quasi-animated comic book trailer
Polishing off the new issue
Planning to put comics on-chain in multiple ways
The next era is loading... stay tuned.
Made these mismatched @goofyfroot slides for myself as a test product but they kinda came out pretty π₯ (at least I think so)
Now I'm like should I drop a limited mix'n'match slides collection? π€
Lmk what you think.
