A man had a habit of adding Maggi Masala to his scrambled eggs.

One day, he bought a few pouches from a nearby shop.

Back at home, he added the same masala to his scrambled eggs and prepared the meal.

First, his 4-year-old son took a bite.

Then he immediately said,

“This isn’t good.”

At first, the man thought the child was just being fussy.

But when he tasted the scrambled eggs himself, he also felt something was off.

The masala had almost no flavor at all.

And in his mouth, he could feel tiny particles, almost like fine stones.

He became suspicious.

He opened another pouch, and that masala looked different too.

So he went to another shop and bought a new packet of Maggi Masala.

When he placed both packets side by side, the difference was obvious.

The printing on one packet was different.

The color of the masala was different too.

And in the suspicious spice mix, partially ground particles were clearly visible.

Even the taste was completely different.

That’s when he realized he might have been sold a fake product.

What surprised him the most was that the difference he himself hadn’t noticed at first,

his 4-year-old son detected in a single bite.

That day, he understood that simply looking at the packaging and assuming a product is genuine isn’t enough.

Because some people take advantage of well-known brand names and similar packaging to sell counterfeit goods in the market.

And many times, the very first thing that reveals the difference between a real product and a fake one is the taste itself.
