When people ask what day CB Ronde Barber went into the @Buccaneers Ring of Honor, most will tell you today’s date, September 22, 2019
If you ask me, I’ll tell you that Ronde Barber went into the ROH on January 19, 2003
Gabriel Martinelli on former Arsenal team-mate Kieran Tierney:
"He's my guy. He's one of the best guys I've met in football. He's so kind and so humble as well. So rapid! We used to joke who was the quickest in the sessions, in my opinion it was always him... I'm always cheering for him." ❤️

Ghanaian Father, Japanese Mother, born in the United States.
His family relocated to Japan when he was very little.
The choice to use his mother’s surname and not his father’s surname is generally due to integration.
Since they were moving permanently to Japan, it only made sense to use that surname.
In Japan, family registration and daily life strongly favor Japanese surnames for smoother integration, schooling, legal matters, and obtaining/affirming Japanese citizenship (which he holds).
If they remained in US or moved to Ghana, he probably would have used his father’s surname, I assume.
Anyways, he went through Urawa Red Diamonds’ academy before going on loan in Belgium and then established himself at Parma in the Italian Serie A.
He’s one goalkeeper many clubs are monitoring, he was linked to Manchester United at some point, and I hope he gets a big move shortly.

I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision.
I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years.
I wish the players, all the best this summer 🏴
