i think it’s badass that i make more money in my relationship. it doesn’t make me feel any less feminine because my femininity isn’t defined by making myself financially smaller so a man can feel bigger.

women were financially dependent on men for most of history because we were denied the ability to build wealth independently. that was never the definition of femininity, it was the definition of inequality.

i don’t need a man to provide for me financially. i want a man who provides in the ways money can’t buy.. love, loyalty, protection, emotional safety, consistency, support and partnership.

i wish more women realized that financial independence is one of the greatest freedoms you can give yourself. make your own money, fund your own life, and choose a man because you genuinely love and desire him, not because you need him to maintain your lifestyle.
