Regardless of passing rules at the ring, that second apex is a closing door and bad place to pass if the other driver doesn't know you're there.

@SoaRZelta I haven't looked at these, but if it's classic non skill based matchmaking, persistent lobbies, and no literal bots for match fills, the nostalgia would be satisfied. SBM in particular removed the option casual sessions.

@Thurco I think the idea is not just to make it easier to get pets, but to prevent pet hunters from tanking the price of lootes. Sacrificing loot means they're not dumping a steady supply of items onto the GE.
