@PackTimPeeler I recall going to Daniel Boone ice rink in 1980 to watch the NCSU Wolfpuck play unc and they stopped the game to announce that the USA team had just beat Russia to win the gold medal. The place went
wild. Beer flying everywhere.

Have a grateful Memorial Day!
I am remembering with you!
Thank you, Victoria B. for this reminder.
Please tell the children the significance and purpose of Memorial Day as our parents and grandparents taught us. Although done with good intentions, saying happy Memorial Day is very disrespectful and insensitive. It is the same as saying happy funeral.
As we visit our cemeteries, attend memorial services, and grill in our backyards here in NC with our families, please remember that Memorial Day is Not a celebration. It is a solemn day of remembrance and gratitude to honor those that DIED defending our country.
@CoachWadeNCSU Surprised, you used the word commitment. I don't think you know what that means. What kind of lies will you lay on the LSU fanbase? Hope you win for a long time down there because no one will want to take a chance on you again after the backstabbing job you put on NC State.

@DickieV@NFL Even peewee football doesn't end in a tie. C'mon @nfl, do better. And while you're at it, move the Super Bowl to Saturday. People will still watch it, and Monday morning call outs from work will be minimal.
