I do agree with you on this. I think its weird to say that to someone.
I only mean it in a general sense.

Some really wouldnt mind, or find humor in it in some weird way.

But also understand, it may not be coming from a negative place either.
For instance, maybe the guy liked her smile and wanted her to know he thought she was pretty when she smiled... but tried to 'play it cool' and it came out all wrong.

Everyone takes things and means things differently.

It is not hard for a girl to find a guy.
But it is very hard to find a guy with the following:

1. Tall
2. Emotionally Available
3. Emotionally Strong
4. Ambitious
5. Doesn't care about money
6. Makes above average money
7. Confident
8. Gentle
9. Funny
10. Serious
11. Not Clingy

Half of the reasons is that traits they want are contradictory.
For instance. If you want a guy to really care about you AND want them to not question when you go out alone with friends he doesnt know, then you will literally never find him. Those completely contradict each other.
