really feel like this game just plays all its cards in the first two hours and leaves the rest totally barren. great music, cool environments, but a boring, repetitive slog nonetheless

been playing through Chrono Trigger and FF7 and while i’m greatly enjoying both, it’s kinda nuts just how much better Chrono Trigger’s combat feels. really puts into perspective how ahead of the curve the game was
loving Metroid Dread so far but the increased detail of the map seems more like a detriment than an improvement, i feel like this thing is borderline illegible
