The brutal Junta SAC Forces in Myanmar perpetrated another massacre on May 11, 2024, claiming the lives of 31 innocent civilians, including children and the elderly, in the horrifying Lettutto Massacre of Myingmu Township, Sagaing. Survivors of the massacre have described the events as merciless, likening the killings to those of animals. The evidence of these atrocities is clear for all to see, and we are confident that justice will prevail, with the perpetrators being brought to account for their heinous actions.

Our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers are with the loved ones, friends, and families of the victims of this abhorrent crime against humanity. It is imperative that the international community, as well as regional neighbors, stand in solidarity with the people of Myanmar and their democratic representatives to bring an end to this reign of terror and hold the perpetrators of these heinous crimes accountable for their acts against humanity. Got a very alarming ‼️ message from Sittwe that Rohingya youths forcefully conscripted by the junta in Sittwe to use as human shield were sent to the frontline. The community leaders today were informed that closed 100 died a. No names were exactly disclosed of who died in the frontline and said relatives will be to identify from dead the bodies .

The military junta openly denied that they are forcefully training and conscripting Rohingya. The footage I got from the ground shows that hundreds of Rohingya are forcefully recruited and the training is overseen by the Border and Security affairs minister of junta. This is against ICJ provisional measure and international community must take actions on the junta.

This could also potentially lead to communal tensions beyond the armed conflict in Arakan state. Similar to post world war-II situation in the state.
