🚨 SOMETHING BIG JUST HAPPENED

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, just BLOCKED withdrawals.

Investors tried to pull $1.2 BILLION from its $26B private credit fund.
BlackRock said NO and capped withdrawals at 5%.

Nearly HALF the investors who wanted out were denied their money.

At the same time, Blackstone faced record withdrawals and had to inject $400M of its own cash.

When the BIGGEST funds on Earth start limiting withdrawals, it is a MAJOR WARNING sign for the entire $1.8 TRILLION private credit market.

To be clear:

1.) This is NOT an annual fee. It’s a one-time fee that applies only to the petition.

2.) Those who already hold H-1B visas and are currently outside of the country right now will NOT be charged $100,000 to re-enter.

H-1B visa holders can leave and re-enter the country to the same extent as they normally would; whatever ability they have to do that is not impacted by yesterday’s proclamation.

3.) This applies only to new visas, not renewals, and not current visa holders.

It will first apply in the next upcoming lottery cycle.

#US legal immigration system is a system where

(1) Attorneys become richer
(2) USCIS becomes a black hole with all the money vanishing with no improvements whatsoever (appraisal meetings should be fun I guess. Can we watch it somewhere? 😉)
(3) Companies lose money with endless renewals, attorney fees, adding to (1)
(4) Legal immigrants are in no better position they were on day 1 of their application or at a worser position

In a nutshell, if you are Indian, you cannot have the US dream since it's buried under the Mariana trench as of now.
