NSE EGR मे जब आप 1 ग्राम EGR खरीदते हैं, तो आप असल में तिजोरी में रखे 1 ग्राम असली सोने के मालिक बन जाते हैं।

यह आपके डीमैट अकाउंट में एक शेयर की तरह क्रेडिट हो जाता है और जब तक आप चाहें, इसे होल्ड कर सकते हैं।

MCX Gold में आप असली सोना नहीं खरीदते, बल्कि सोने के प्राइस मूवमेंट पर एक कॉन्ट्रैक्ट F&O की तरह ट्रेड करते हैं। हर कॉन्ट्रैक्ट की एक निश्चित एक्सपायरी डेट होती है, जिससे पहले आपको अपनी पोजीशन काटनी पड़ती है या रोलओवर करनी होती है।

NSE EGR पूरी तरह कैश सेगमेंट की तरह काम करता है। अगर 8,0000 प्रति 10 ग्राम का भाव है, तो 10 ग्राम खरीदने के लिए आपको पूरे 8,0000 देने होंगे। इसमें कोई लेवरेज नहीं मिलता।

MCX Gold डेरिवेटिव मार्केट है, यहाँ आपको लेवरेज मिलता है। यानी 80,000 मूल्य के सोने का ट्रेड करने के लिए आपको केवल 10% से 15% का मार्जिन देना होता है।

NSE EGR में सोना तिजोरी में सुरक्षित रखा जाता है, इसलिए आपको लंबे समय तक होल्ड करने पर वॉल्ट स्टोरेज चार्ज देने होते हैं। इसके अलावा डिलीवरी लेते समय 3% GST लगता है।

MCX Gold में कोई स्टोरेज चार्ज नहीं होता क्योंकि आप एक्सपायरी आधारित कॉन्ट्रैक्ट होल्ड करते हैं। हालांकि, हर बार पोजीशन रोलओवर करने पर ब्रोकरेज और अन्य ट्रांजैक्शन चार्जेस लगते हैं।
