@JakobZyer@JPercyTelegraph More accurate… although the two are not related and have been negotiated at “arms length” in order not to contravene the ridiculous PSR guidelines 😉. The treatment of Forest and Everton as opposed to Man City, Man U and Foxes makes a mockery of the EPL.
I’m hosting a showcase of work by @CSSDLondon graduating playwrights at @sohotheatre on June 11th. Two showings at 12pm and 3pm. Lots of LGBTQ + voices, lots of comedy. If you’re looking for new writing talent, let me know and I’ll book you a FREE ticket. A retweet would be FAB
Back of my Polling Card for local elections. For 1st time, photo ID is required. Card gives many options for elderly or those with disability. None, NONE, for younger or student voters. The policy is simply biased against younger voters, designed to suppress their vote.
If this government faced an #Ofsted type inspection it would have been classified #inadequate for years. Not a particularly constructive measure, is it? How would #Ofsted categorise their own performance in terms of care for the wellbeing and mental health of those they inspect?
@MarkRavenhill2 I still draw on his work every term and his status games are a starting point to introduce students to how power dynamics are expressed on stage. My condolences to his loved ones.
I'm at BBC HQ in London where there is a statue of George Orwell and his words
"If Liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear."

@selinabusby I was recently asked to pay for private vaccinations/ blood tests, to satisfy Occupational Health, in order to do an honorary post within the NHS, providing psychotherapy for patients. The NHS wouldn’t provide this service, that was a prerequisite to work for them for free 🤔.
What a beautiful and moving farewell memorial performance tonight for our brilliant and inspiring former colleague- the amazing #SarahDaveyHull So much love in the Embassy Theatre @CSSDLondon@boldelephant_ Wonderful to share so many memories with friends, family and alumni.
@JDaviesPhD In so far as it enables clients that feel disempowered to tell their own story and validate their own feelings, it has the potential to empower those that, at a point in time, don’t feel seen or heard in their lives. This can lead to change and is therefore a political act.
Looking for help, any ideas for large rehearsal rooms available in London from November 7th for 4 weeks full-time. Needs solid floor and height to be able to accommodate levels in rehearsals. Suggestions welcomed. Reasonable budget available for hire but have limits. Thanks.
@NellFrizzell @nakedvix We had a picnic for my wife’s birthday recently. One of the grandkids pointed at a box of macaroons and asked if she could have a “sugary burger”… now a family term.
My condolences Simon. Your dad was a visionary directors and a kind, generous man. I was lucky enough to participate in a number of workshops with him in the 90’s and 00’s. He was an inspiration to so many and his legacy lives on in theatres all over the globe.
My dad #PeterBrook passed away last night. I am the luckiest guy in the world to have had such an amazing and loving father. May he rest in peace. (Photo by Mary Ellen Mark) #maryellenmark
