I'm never going to complain about Jake Myers' arm because I know that even if I grew up in the USA, as the son of a professional baseball player, practicing every day. As long as I live, I would have a noodle arm. I would be worse than Jake Myers.
I can't throw for shit.
@legaltweetz Also. If it's forced, it's meaningless.
People support, or otherwise in their own way. Some people make a show of it, others do it in the way they act.
Is it just me, or does Joe Espada take losing too well?
From his mood in the press conference, you'd think we won. He thinks Teng did well.
It's not the first time he's been positively giddy after losing.
As someone said, "show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser".
@brianmctaggart It illustrates just how overrated strikeouts are as stats. It's not like we can take any of the 6 runs off the scoreboard as a result of them.
@japan_nobunaga It depends where you live. I'm in the Houston area suburbs, so absolutely not.
Downtown Houston, or even midtown would be a different matter, and possible.
@SydneyLWatson I don't mean this in a bad way, but who is he? Why is everyone giving him free stuff?
I'm assuming he is famous for something, but I don't know what it is.
I was driving when it happened, so I am late commenting, but what kind of retard puts de los santos into this game in the 6th? He was already spent yesterday. How surprising is it really that he got only 1 out and put 3 on?
I haven't spoken I'll of Joe Espada up until now.
@brianmctaggart@AstrosFansUK@dogtx There was a much higher probability the next batter would get a hit than that throw was not caught and the tag applied. It was 1/5 vs 1/100. But I'm not complaining. It ended up working, fortunately.
