Greetings all! Meet Jenny who is an ESOL teacher here @CardinalHumeCHC. Jenny mainly teaches Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers, over Zoom or here in the centre. Today she has been cooking lasagna with one of our young residents. One of these plates is for moi! Epic darling! 😋.

Hello! 👋🏽. Here we find Hilary our Head of Families @CardinalHumeCHC waiting for this play equipment to be delivered to The Hilton Metropole Hotel, where families recently arrived from Afghanistan are staying. Gaia and Danielle are holding play sessions for the children. How fab!

At last building work has begun here @CardinalHumeCHC converting 2 offices within our hostel into emergency accommodation for young people in immediate need. Keep tuned for updates!

Hello people! Have you missed me? I’ve been to Twycross Zoo to visit the cousins. The splendid Rob from @felixprojectuk delivered some gorgeous fruit for our hostel here @CardinalHumeCHC today. You may have noticed the incredibly shy Dan not showing off at all! 🙄

A very sad day here @CardinalHumeCHC. We are saying farewell to the most lovely Entsar. Entsar 1st came to CHC some 11 yrs ago as a client. She has since become a loved and valued member of our Family Centre team. We will miss her, and we wish her well 😘.

Who is this handsome gentleman, I hear you ask? This is the lovely Colin who works with the fab @felixprojectuk. Colin turns up @CardinalHumeCHC every week rain or shine, with a van full of goodies for our young hostel residents. Always cheerful, and looking fabulous! 😉.

Hello everybody! What a glorious day here @CardinalHumeCHC. It gives me great pleasure to introduce Adam. Adam is an ex client of the centre, who now has a Wrap and Kebab business very close to us on Strutton Ground. Adam says he is grateful for the help he received from CHC 😃.
