1 All doctors complete an undergraduate medical degree which takes 4-6 years, paying same costs as all other college students. They are then qualified as a Doctor.
We need to rapidly increase consultant nos AND beds to deal with the ongoing crisis in health services. If Govt is serious about recruitment we must ensure that the failed policies of the past are addressed so that consultants will choose to work here.
