Andrew Neil gives the Rejoin EU fantasists a dose of reality they rarely get on Question Time.
The argument is still being conducted as though Britain left the Europe of 2016 and can simply climb back aboard the same train. Neil’s point is devastatingly simple: that Europe no longer exists. The political balance has shifted, its biggest economies are struggling, and rejoining the single market or customs union comes with obligations and costs that are too often waved away by those selling Brexit reversal as free money.
He also reminds Remainers of something they prefer to forget. There were serious economic arguments for staying in the EU in 2016, but the official campaign squandered them with a relentlessly negative campaign and then spent years raging at the electorate for delivering the wrong answer.
You cannot rerun 2016 in 2026 and pretend nothing changed.
The #EU is rapidly becoming a goose step away from 1933...

Fuck’sake there’s Putin ready to attack, rapists and benefits seekers invading our shores, China stealing our manufacturing and jobs, energy security and prices out of control and this ridiculous polished turd of a Defence Secretary wants to know if we can find our torches!🤬
🤨 Ferrari Erupts in Disbelief: “You Can’t Afford a 50p Toothbrush?!” Sparks Fiery On-Air Clash Over UK Poverty Claims
On LBC this morning, Nick Ferrari was left stunned during a discussion on the Joseph Rowntree Foundation’s latest cost-of-living report.
The guest highlighted extreme hardship, claiming millions of households can’t afford even the most basic items like toothbrushes, toothpaste or soap.
Nick: “You’re going to be able to afford two toothbrushes, aren’t you, for a pound at the poundshop?”
Guest: “Not if your housing costs are…” (Nick cuts him off)
Nick (in total disbelief): “You’re telling me people in this country can’t afford a 50p toothbrush?”
Guest: “Yes.”
Nick: “Where? Who? Why?”
Guest: “7.4 million households…” (Nick cuts in again)
Nick: “7.4 million in this country cannot afford a 50p toothbrush?”
Guest: “That’s why it should be an emergency.”
Sorry, but I’m with Nick here. Times are undeniably tough for many, but claiming millions can’t afford a 50p toothbrush feels ridiculous and actually weakens the wider poverty argument.
Oh dear... I think I touched a nerve👀
Ed Miliband said I was ‘scaremongering’ because I asked who was responsible in the event of a blackout and what repercussions there would be.
That’s because on the 2nd May our grid suffered a significant, sudden frequency loss.
This could result in nationwide blackouts. Ed’s policies are making our grid more unstable, more unpredictable, and more expensive to balance.
Who pays? You, the consumer.
And weirdly, he doesn’t seem to know who is accountable.
Ofgem? NESO? DESNZ?
We need to know who is in charge and what accountability they will face for a more unreliable and costly electricity grid.
It shouldn’t be this hard to answer a simple question.
Been getting a lot of very positive reaction to my extended interview with @KemiBadenoch - which has now had over 600k views.
Her party may still be very unpopular but Ms Badenoch is getting increasingly popular.
It is being reported that Ed Miliband is likely to become the Chancellor of the Exchequer if Andy Burnham is Prime Minister. Yet, here he is getting completely schooled in this interview on energy taxes and prices.
I’ve posted this👇 4 Times & I will post it last thing at night for the next week; do not put that call off like I did; life goes so very quickly >Make that 📞Go for a ☕️ Go & Visit & Do Not put it off; I Did! That’s why I’m posting this👇
99.98%+ of roadtrips are already possible in the US in a Tesla. Tesla drivers know this through their vehicle touchscreen, but too many people have no clue.
The first state-owned highway signs showing Tesla Superchargers are now going live. We plan on rolling this out more broadly.
Hopefully this helps with turning any range anxiety into range confidence for the general public.
