@Alladdin1983@JamesSurowiecki@infantrydort It’s not easy to surpass Naomi Wolfe’s humiliation for shoddy research without comprehension, but @Alladdin1983 has managed to blow by her. Literally the biggest self own I have ever come across on this site.
@TheLukasWarner@JamesSurowiecki@IMAO_ Conversely, if my wife was 8 months pregnant and her pregnancy put her life in danger, I would support an abortion with no hesitation. A fetus does not equal a child.
@TheLukasWarner@JamesSurowiecki@IMAO_ To build on that, I’m the father of three kids. If there were somehow a situation where I had to choose between protecting one of my children and my wife, I’d certainly protect the child (as would my wife if the situation were reversed). (1 of 2)
@andrewsharp Big fan of Draymond and think he is more competitive than insecure, but I also think he gets caught up and can be flat out mean. His “they don’t love you like that” to Paul Pierce is still the most brutal trash talk I ever heard.
@dylanmatt I liked Girls. But Succession was easily, along with Better Call Saul, the best show of the last five years and a top 10 show of all time. Girls is not close to that league.
@AmiDar@Alonso_GD Don't become an unwitting tool of the right by advocating for fantasies that will do nothing but strengthen their hand. A path to a two state is clear and attainable: https://t.co/Eogdser6tG
@AmiDar@Alonso_GD Big fan in general @AmiDar but this is wildly unhelpful. The idea that Israel should become like S/B/C is so absurd at this point that it only serves to discredit the left. A two state solution remains the only viable solution for the forseeable future.
@tlillis4@gbrew24@Zehra_Zaidi The fact that U.S. oil companies will make windfall profits is immaterial to 99% of Americans who are just stuck with higher prices.
@BillSimmons Agree with many of the commenters. The play calling on this sequence wasn’t egregious. Would have been far worse if they had simply run three times. Bears would still have gotten the ball back with 3 minutes, and they obviously didn’t need the time outs.
@RTP_Joel@minakimes Not sure why there is more mo and confidence after the second TD. And the point is that it isn’t over if the first PAT fails, since you can onside kick. It’s not a great chance with 3 minutes left (>5%), but it’s not nothing. Think how may times you have seen WSOP one outers hit.
@JujuTheD00d@PatrickWCutler But you get that you still need to make a 2 point conversion right. All you have done is delay it until after the second score. Why do you think it’s more likely you will make it then?
@Jeff_Gimpel Jeff: Do you believe it is easier to make the 2 point conversion after the second TD? If so, why? And if not, then do you understand Kimes point?
@minakimes This is so obviously correct, it’s absurd that people disagree. Unless you somehow believe that it’s easier to make the 2 point conversion after the second TD (and if so, please explain why), then of course you go after the first score.
@DavidHaugh If you don’t go for two then, you obviously have to go for two the next time. Do you think it is somehow more likely you will convert after the second touchdown? If not, why do you think it was the wrong call?
