First up: ‘After the Hillsborough law, how can we tackle state injustices’.
We brought together MPs, campaigners and policy-makers to discuss lessons from the infected blood scandal and what more can be done to tackle state injustices.
Today is World Hepatitis Day.
For many in our community, hepatitis is more than a global health issue. It’s part of a painful history that continues to impact the lives of people infected and affected by the contaminated blood scandal.
Today, we are remembering all the children we lost to the infected blood scandal. As bereaved parents, we have fought for years to have their lives acknowledged and their deaths recognised.
We continue to call on the government for real and fair justice for every bereaved parent
“Children who've lost parents, and parents who've lost children, are waiting and waiting and waiting. Frankly, the compensation authority just needs to get on with it.”

Following a change in circumstances I am not able to use my Virgin gym membership. Before leaving the area I spoke to team members in house and have since been on the app and online trying to find a way to cancel my membership. How do I get to speak to someone?

Nick Thomas-Symonds MP visited our office on 11 June to discuss compensation and engaging with the infected blood community. We hope this marks the start of regular, meaningful dialogue to address the serious issues still facing our community.

A year ago, the Infected Blood Inquiry published its devastating report into the multiple failings that led to the contaminated blood scandal. The inquiry gave us the truth, but we’re still waiting for justice. Fair compensation must be paid to everyone impacted by this disaster.
It’s world Haemophilia day and what a great opportunity to share a video created by our Youth Ambassadors which proves having a bleeding disorder of any type doesn’t have to define you or hold you back. What a team @HaemoSocUK proud of you all.
