Meet beautiful Belinga! Like many other #gorillas@gorillasgabon, she was rescued from poachers who stole her as a part of the illegal bushmeat trade. Belinga is known a very patient gorilla who avoids unnecessary fights and likes to live a quiet life at the sanctuary.
So thankful for @EndangeredArk and @pasaprimates. Thanks to these amazing partners, Maya (rescued from the bushmeat trade in 2020) will soon join a family of 10 gorillas. 🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍
After his parents were poached and after being kept alone 2 years in a local zoo, Gimenu (which means ''life'' ) found hope at the Fernan-Vaz Gorilla Project in Gabon, central Africa. With other orphans, he began his long rehabilitation journey within the forest.
