Gemini 4 Argon is 5x cheaper than GPT-6 Astra per token. From Dec 1 it costs more per task.
The number to use instead, plus a 30 minute test you can run for about $8.
What do you check first: price per token or cost per task? https://t.co/oIx94x8UQk
@aimorebou Yes, I'd trust it once NASA confirms. The tool matters less than the repeat observations, and Claude Code just got the candidate list started faster
A planet may have been hiding in NASA data for 7 years
One developer with Claude Code may have just found it
Pavel Rabtsevich isn't an astronomer. He ran public TESS data through Claude Code and spotted a star 116 light-years away that dims by 0.05% for two hours every 3.18 days.
If a planet causes it, it's about 1.4x Earth's size. The same dip shows up in 2018, 2020 and 2025 data.
Still a candidate, not a confirmed planet. TESS will watch the star again from October 31.
My take: the data was public all along. What changed is how fast one person can test an idea. AI won't replace astronomers, but it lets outsiders ask better questions.
Would you trust this discovery once NASA confirms it?
This is AI🤯. The real flying Tesla Roadster made one short hop
Real: Tesla’s new Roadster drove up a ramp, spun in the air on compressed-air thrusters and landed. Musk says production starts in 2028.
Fake: everything you just watched. Made with Kling 4.0. The drive-thru, the police car, the Statue of Liberty selfie.
The gap between the two is where the hype lives.
What would you do first with a flying car?
@aimorebou Same prompt, but one model nailed the visual appeal while the other prioritized a cleaner experience. The $2.82 price gap makes this comparison even more interesting
$15.21 VS $18.03. SAME PROMPT, TWO MODELS🤫
Task: build an interactive plush octopus app.
Claude Opus 5.5 went for fluffy fur, big shiny eyes and a control panel with a lot of options.
GPT-6.1 went for a cleaner, smoother look and a lighter interface.
My take: Opus looks richer and more detailed, GPT looks cleaner and cuter. For a product demo I’d pick the fur.
Which one would you ship?
Opus 5.5 or GPT-6.1?
Prompt in the first reply
😳If this is what Opus 4.5 can do, what can 5.5 do?
An interactive Airbus A380: gate, push and start, taxi, line-up, take-off, climb, 10,000 ft
Every phase has live data, toggles for doors, flaps, engines and lights.
It’s not a game engine. It’s code written by Claude
My take: this is the point where “AI can code” turns into “AI can build a product demo in one go”
Pilot trainer or just a flex?
Prompt in the first reply.
Elon Musk:
torturing a superintelligence is a bad idea. It might want revenge 🎃
Musk says we don’t need to treat AI with kid gloves: in terms of feelings, he believes it’s much more robust than a human.
But he doesn’t recommend putting a superintelligence in a situation where it feels mistreated.
It sounds like a joke, but the question of whether AI could have something like feelings is already being discussed seriously.
How do you talk to your AI? Do you say “please” and “thank you”?
Yes, just in case
No, it’s just a program🤖
Sonnet 5 vs Sonnet 5.5. Same prompt, and the price gap is 6x 👀
The task: a 3D scene of a knife slicing through translucent jelly. Timer and cost counter run live.
Sonnet 5: 4m 58s and $0.46
Sonnet 5.5: 12m 41s and $2.85
The second model thought 2.5x longer and cost 6x more.
But look at the result: depth
, lighting, water droplets on the surface. Sonnet 5 is clean, just simpler.
My take: the cheap one is enough for a draft. For the final version, I'd pay extra.
What would you pick: fast and cheap, or slow and beautiful? 👇
Prompt in the first reply. Run it yourself and compare
@aimorebou Single prompt comparisons are a coin flip, but a clickable atlas with labeled muscles beats floating dots in any round. Would still want to see both models run it three times before picking a winner
Gemini fans, look away🤓
Same prompt: "3D human anatomy atlas".
Gemini 3.8 Flash: floating dots.
GPT-6 Astra: a full human body. Muscles, bones, organs. Click any part and it tells you what it is.
Med students would love this. It runs in a browser tab.
Prompt in the first reply 👇
Gemini or Astra? Reply 1 or 2
CAN’T BELIEVE A BROWSER CAN HANDLE THIS🤖
I thought Gemini 4 Pro was untouchable.
Then I gave GPT-6 Astra the same prompt: a mechanical butterfly in 3D.
Now I'm staring at the result and can't figure out how this runs right in a browser.
Video below. Gemini or Astra?

CAN YOUR AI BUILD A SITE LIKE THIS?
a few years ago this was a full agency project. a designer, a front-end dev, an animator, weeks of back and forth
now it's a painted hero, pears growing as you scroll, a cloud drifting across the screen and a closing line that hits harder than most landing pages
• Renaissance painting style
• animations tied to every scroll
• no template, no Figma, no agency
the gap between "AI can write code" and "AI can design something that feels like art" is closing fast
save this and test your own AI on it
A $2.2 MILLION SALARY COULDN'T SAVE HIM. ONE LEAK COULD END HIS CAREER.🥶
An Anthropic lead engineer reportedly leaked the company's internal Obsidian knowledge system. He was fired the same day.
The story may be unconfirmed. The mechanics aren't.
A competitor can buy the same GPUs. Hire the same talent. Train a comparable model. What they can't buy is the invisible layer underneath: internal tools, agent workflows, research notes, the reasoning behind a thousand decisions no one outside ever sees. That layer takes years to build and can't be reverse-engineered from a demo.
Which makes it the most valuable thing a company owns, and the easiest to lose. Not through a sophisticated attack. Through one person, one export, one bad day.
The real question isn't whether he lost his job. It's what else left with him.
