At the end of 2025, my josei manga Delirium received a Bronze Award at the 19th Japan Manga Awards.
TYVM to everyone who bought my book. Turns out you now have an internationally recognised mangaka on your shelves xoxo
@breeze_paro I don’t know? If the process is that brutal, the results should be extraordinary every single time. But somehow… they aren’t. So maybe, just maybe, we should question the process.
The industry won’t change if everyone keeps pretending that everything works just fine.
Dear manga enjoyers, in the name of artistic inspiration, please share your favourite manga covers with me! And if you don’t mind, tell me what exactly you love about them what catches your eye or stays in your memory?
@alice_korotaeva Oh yes! Every single cover perfectly captures the mood and energy of its volume also. And the art style itself is just completely beyond words!
You can read DELIRIUM for free on the official site. It's not great though, so better use the desktop version. I’m also selling the first volume at different conventions, but you need to be located in the UK for that. Anyway, thank you for the support!!! https://t.co/H4flZlCZAD
Hi, I’m goroweko, an indie manga artist. I love josei and watching hot people make out I mean create meaningful art, so I decided to become homeless and completely destroy my future I mean dedicate my life to making comics 🙇♀️
The people who spend hours raging about stuff like this online could’ve used that time to create something, learn a skill or make art. The fact that they choose outrage instead says enough on its own.
No joke. After watching this video and seeing his love for the craft and for the process of creation itself, I realized making manga is my calling. I cried while watching it, because I feel the exact same way.

That’s why I love @14MOUNTAIN with all my heart. The way he approaches manga as a form of Art, completely changed the trajectory of my life and made me want to become a mangaka myself. Manga is art. Art is for everyone.
Torishima didn't say that "manga artists" have started drawing for adults. He felt that the entire manga industry wasn't focused on children. (That's one of the reasons why) I said that in modern times, manga is no longer drawn for children. I hope the source of the interview will translate his words accurately and write the article accordingly, and that the media outlets quoting and spreading his words will verify the accuracy of the source rather than making definitive statements.
The first print run I self-published last September is completely sold out. I’ve just got the second (and probably last) run. Sometimes your dreams come true just in unexpected ways.
Time to move on 💫
