@Jerrybraden92 I'd love it if they came down to the southeast sometime in 2027.
I went to night 3 and I was going to try and hit either night 4 or 5, but it didn't work out unfortunately.
Can't wait to see them again!
@Jerrybraden92 Having Always and Bed Of Roses regularly on the setlist would be a blessing.
I was shocked to hear them both for the first time on night 3. I'm so glad that was the show I ended up going to. He can definitely sing them both now!
@Jerrybraden92 100%. I'm sure Jon & the band will keep getting better as they get back into the touring rhythm.
Also, do you think they're going to expand the tour? If so, when do you think they might announce it? After MSG night 9?
@Jerrybraden92 That would be great.
I've been telling everyone who wasn't at the show how great he sounded, but it's hard to get that across from recordings on the phone.
@Jerrybraden92 Any idea when you think they'll be posted?
I remember that the official videos from 2018 in Philadelphia were posted a little over two months later.
@MJ_14RF@JBJEXPMEMES Unfortunately, I think I'll need 3 tickets now, sorry about that.
Ticketmaster is giving me trouble, not sure why. I have to wait for their support team to fix it.
@JBJEXPMEMES@scouserlfc1892 That's an issue I've noticed as well.
I wish we'd see Runaway live. I don't know if it's an issue of the start of the song being too fast and him possibly falling behind, the sustained note in the chorus, or if there's no big issue and they're going to play it at some point.
@Jerrybraden92 He must have made incredible progress in the past year because he sounds much better than he did on the Tony Robbins show last September.
@JBJEXPMEMES@scouserlfc1892 Interesting. I hope it was just an off night.
What have you thought of the setlists so far? Anything you'd change?
I was thrilled to hear Always for the first time since 2019. I never thought he'd sing it again. It's a tough song, but I think he got through it sounding alright.
@JBJEXPMEMES@scouserlfc1892 What songs do you think he struggled the most with on night 3 that he performed better on nights 1/2?
I'm going to try and see either night 4 or 5, and if you think night 3 was much worse vocally, I'd be thrilled if that was just an off night and he sounds even better.
@scouserlfc1892@flyers212844@JBJEXPMEMES I won't argue that he generally sounds better than he did before 2022, but the surgery definitely helped his voice in a major way.
If you don't think he sounds good, you don't have to go to the shows. There are plenty of people who will enjoy them with his current voice.
@flyers212844@scouserlfc1892@JBJEXPMEMES Exactly. I never would've imagined he'd sing "Always" based on everything I'd heard before the tour.
I understand people criticizing his voice if it isn't up to their standards, but plenty of people (like you and I) will still enjoy the shows with his current voice.
@scouserlfc1892@JBJEXPMEMES I don't really know what he meant when he said that.
If he meant that he's at 100% of what he's capable of post-surgery, then he could be right.
If he's saying that he thinks he sounds better than he did in any year before 2021, then I'd disagree.
@scouserlfc1892@JBJEXPMEMES Relatively amazing. I went into the concert expecting him to sound awful based on everything I'd heard since the surgery, and he greatly exceeded those expectations.
No one should expect him to sound like he did 10 years ago, but all things considered, I thought he sounded great
@JBJEXPMEMES@scouserlfc1892 I haven't listened to anything from nights 1/2 so I can't compare between them.
I'm not saying the show was perfect (nor was his voice better than it was in 2018 or 2020), but he was miles better than before the surgery and anything I've heard since (like the Tony Robbins show).
