We do (did?) love our “deprecating”humor. I think the Brits call it “banter” these days.

How ironic though, that the conversation went from the disabled discussing being unjustly accused of abusing parking spaces, to being asked to try to understand how tough life is for mothers.

@JaninaArsenjeva @vaspider @carlyfindlay As a parent, I’m aware of that, and I’m not literally shoving anything up anyone’s nose. However, having an invisible disability, I’m wary enough of ppl accusing me of abusing disabled spaces, so was bracing for abuse for using a Prams spot. Any attitude I have is self defence.

I understand child wrangling, especially with shopping, can be hard.I usually see lots of Prams spots free when all the Disabled spots are taken.
