After her divorce, star divorce lawyer Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Na-ra) grows her law firm 'REBOM' into a successful mid-sized law firm. To increase competitiveness in the increasingly fierce legal market, she recruits Kang Hye-seong (Kim Hye-yoon), a competent 5-year lawyer whom she once faced in court. Although the two often clash due to their different ways of handling cases, they gradually develop into partners who trust and rely on each other.

Meanwhile, the two discover a heartbreaking connection. The man having an affair with Kang Hye-seong's mother turns out to be Cha Eun-kyung's biological father. He was a respected family court judge who had abandoned Cha Eun-kyung in her childhood and left.

On the other hand, Cha Eun-kyung's ex-husband, Kim Ji-sang (Ji Seung-hyun), who has remarried, also ends up being hurt by his spouse's infidelity and asks Cha Eun-kyung for help.

The two women live their lives facing various divorce cases, family wounds, and the weight of the past. In the process, they break free from the shackles of their parents and learn how to find true independence and happiness in their own ways.
