@DineshDSouza Job says, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. So, Job knows that the LORD rules over all. Let us bring Him praise!
@linabca87 This post reminds me of this verse, "The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
@DineshDSouza The wisdom of man is foolishness to God. This life of sin is passing away. Let's kiss the Son and enjoy Him forever. Our King is coming victorious.
Please...read the bible...
What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
And God answered, "I'm not sure, I'll need to see what Dinesh will do. I'm hoping he writes a brilliant post to change the coarse of the future." Maybe, if I'm lucky Dinesh's brilliant work will allow me to avenge your blood.
So true. Both predestination and free will have a problem. The LORD God answers both in scripture, but the answers are not very satisfying.
There must be free will. If God controls your will, then you cannot be guilty for your sins. Right? God made me this way.
However, if you do have true free will, then God cannot know what anyone would think, say or do. If God knows what will happen tomorrow, then your will is not truly free.
Some say, "My will is free. But God knows what I will choose." This thought doesn't make sense unless you believe He knew your thought before creation. If He knew your thought the moment before you thought it, then who cares? God is not in control and the world is in chaos.
Like I said, mankind, the creature, has problems with this. So, repent of your sins, believe in Jesus our savior, read the bible, seek to do good works, pray, sing praises to the LORD our God, and leap for joy. Jesus came, and He will come again. Amen.
Dinesh. Finally you are starting to begin to consider the mysteries of God. Just consider...
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,..
Does God work all things according to the counsel of your will or my will? No. That would be crazy.
Relax...think about it. Romans nine (9). Read it and meditate on it. We are created to love God and to be loved by Him.
If you truly have absolute free will. Then no one, not even yourself, can be certain what you will choose to say or do tomorrow. Then no human, angel or God could know with certainty what will happen tomorrow.
If God knows all things, then we cannot have a will free from His. In Him we live and move and have our being.
@SOFXnetwork the term "military casualty" includes duty status–whereabouts unknown, missing, ill, or injured. If you're interested in those in the military that were killed or injured in the Iran war, then look for KIA or WIA (Killed or Wounded in Action).
@ferarri001 If I wrote this for my math teacher, she would have me write on the board for the whole class 25 times, "define math problems clearly". Have you passed the 4th grade? This isn't even an equation.
