The other day on @citizentvkenya, a former Kenyan PS said that President Kibaki used to invite the likes of Singaporean Prime Minister to address the cabinet to hone the team's knowledge & share experiences. Kibaki grew the economy up to 8%/yearly from Moi's -11%. Listening to President M7's frustration yesterday at #PresidentialCEOForum about our continued importation of furniture, uninformed politicians & civil servants, drew me to the Kenyan experience. Have we attempted to invite the likes of Asian Tigers' Leaders to speak to our people, or have we attempted to send some of our people to attend the likes of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy? Miracles can't just happen.
