Today we shut down Dover, while illegal migrants crossed the channel, we trapped them in the facility and refused to let any coaches, lorry’s or deliveries get to them 🇬🇧🏴 All channel crossings got redirected to Ramsgate.
MPs are receiving a £3,300 'cost of living' salary hike as part of a 5% pay rise this week.
One won't - Rupert Lowe.
Every penny goes to local charities in his constituency of Great Yarmouth.
Actions speak louder than words.
@philthefish42@SkOscillator@mitchellsnik@jeremycorbyn He's totally against fox hunting, but you'll never find him criticising halal. I'm sure that's nothing to do with the fact that his constituency includes the renowned Finsbury Park Mosque and urban foxes a plenty.
Turin Italy, where a policeman gets attacked with a hammer, by a group of far left Antifa thugs.
We are definitely watching the collapse of western society, funded by people like George Soros.
I have no sympathy whatsoever for Rachel Reeves. I don't care if she cries in Parliament, or wherever else frankly. She should be sacked, and a Chancellor with at least a vague understanding of how business operates should be appointed.
My sympathies are with the working families who paying more and more tax to fund lazy scroungers who can't be arsed to work, yet end up receiving more monthly cash than the working family.
My sympathies are with the small business owners who have had to close their doors as a direct result of what Reeves has done to tax, regulation and the cost of doing business. Years of hard work, gone. Almost overnight.
My sympathies are with the British couples who want to start a family, but just can't scratch together the funds to make it happen. Yet a Pakistani family will receive thousands of pounds from our tax every month to have more children. Is that fair? Is that just? Is that right? No. No, it's not.
Working people. Good, genuine, decent and honest working people who have seen their standard of life wiped out by this socialist cabal driving our economy even further into the dust.
So no, I don't really care if Reeves gets upset or not.
She should have the decency to resign.
Weak, and woefully out of her depth. An secondary school economics teacher who regularly gets embarrassed by her pupils - that's her level.
This isn't misogyny, mansplaining, sexism or whatever else. It's the truth. The cold hard truth.
First female chancellor or not, she's done a shit job.
She should be sacked in disgrace for what she has done to our country.
@BrianHa36920543@grok@woodyboibolton @gbnprotest @giddygoat69@Grock@grok, I've isolated the few moments from the video where THE PROTESTER says "we love bacon", then a couple of seconds later the police officer says "you're under arrest" to which the protester replies "fine". There is no other editing. Please review this focused clip.
@grok@BrianHa36920543@woodyboibolton @gbnprotest @giddygoat69@Grock Well at least you can now hear the two salient phrases from the original footage. I also note that apart from vocal expressions, the crowd is quite calm, stationery and still. There were certainly no visible indications of any other disorder beyond the "we love bacon" comment?
You’ve completely misread the room Rachel. Rates haven’t been cut because you brought “stability.” They’ve been cut because the economy is flatlining and the Bank of England is in full-blown panic mode.
Inflation is rising again and still above target. Growth is stuck and declining. Unemployment is up. And instead of fixing the fundamentals, you’re cheering on a rate cut like it’s a prize.
This wasn’t a unanimous decision either, it was a split vote. Even the Bank is divided on whether this is the right move. Why? Because rate cuts now risk reigniting inflation, punishing savers and further weakening the £.
The truth? This is capitulation, not confidence. You’re relying on emergency monetary policy to plaster over the cracks of your failing economic strategy.
You inherited falling inflation, growth (albeit slow) and business momentum. In just over a year, you’ve reversed it all.
This isn’t putting money in people’s pockets. It’s causing the the next crisis and it’s going to be the biggest one in generations
Full video of PC Lydia Ward released today, completely inconsolable after being punched by one of the Manchester Airport brothers.
Remember 200 local Muslims protested the police after this, and the local MP met with the family and vowed to support them.
Welcome to a BBC discussion in 2025. BBC Politics East discusses men in women's spaces - with SEVEN trans activists (and one woman). Then back in the studio two trans activists talk to a presenter with a clear pro trans agenda (while another woman briefly speaks by video link)
The sheep are to be cleared from Romney Marsh so that 16,000 acres of green grazing land can be covered with Chinese plastic solar panels. https://t.co/rmE47kwB5t
