I cry out to God Most High, to God, who vindicates me. He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me—God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.

Be merciful, Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll. My enemies turn when I call for help. I know God is for me. Praise the Lord, in God I trust. What can man do to me? I am under vows to God; I present my thank offerings. You delivered me, I may walk in the light of life

Listen to my prayer, God, dont ignore my plea; hear me & answer. My thoughts trouble me & I'm distraught. My heart's in anguish; I call & the Lord saves me. Evening, morning & noon I cry out. He rescues me unharmed. Cast your cares on the Lord & he'll sustain you; I trust in you.

Save me by your name; vindicate me by your might. Hear my prayer. Arrogant foes attack me; trying to kill me—people without regard for God. Surely God is my help; the one who sustains me. I sacrifice a freewill offering; I praise your name. My eyes looked in triumph on my foes.

God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

Have mercy according to your love; your compassion. Wash me. You desired faithfulness; taught me wisdom. Create me a pure heart, steadfast spirit. Don't take your Spirit. Grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. My sacrifice is a broken spirit & contrite heart you won't despise.

I have no need of a bull from your stall or goats from your pens, every animal is mine. I know every bird & the insects. The world is mine & all in it. Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High & call on me in trouble; I'll deliver you & you'll honor me

Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation. For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever. Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression? We are brought down to the dust; our bodies cling to the ground. Rise up and help us; rescue us because of your unfailing love.

Vindicate me. God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go mourning oppressed by the enemy? Send me light & faithful care; bring me to your holy mountain the place where you dwell. Why soul are you downcast? Disturbed? Put hope in God, I will praise my Savior & God.

As the deer pants for water my soul pants, thirsts for the living God. When can I meet God? Tears have been my food, people say “Where is your God?” I used to go to the house of God with joy & praise. Why have you forgotten me? My soul downcast? Hope in God, I will yet praise him

My close friend turned against me. Have mercy on me that I may repay them. I know you are pleased with me, my enemy does not triumph over me. Because of my integrity you uphold me & set me in your presence forever. Praise the Lord the God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting

I waited patiently for the Lord. He lifted me & gave me a place to stand. Put a new song in my mouth. Blessed is the one who trusts the Lord. Sacrifice & offerings you did not require. I desire your will; your law is in my heart. I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly.
