@velanstudios Amazing work! I’ve already played more hours than I should admit. Hope you get a chance to build upon what you’ve established in the Lylat system really soon!
@AussieGamr I did! I’m such a die hard fan of the series I was willing to be patient with the controls where people that don’t have the same attachment to the series would understandably be less patient with it. I ended up really enjoying Zero besides the Gyrowing mission.
@velanstudios Thank you so much for all your hard work with my favorite IP. The demo has been such a joy to play! Everything looks, feels and sounds fantastic! I can’t wait for the full release! Let’s rock n’ roll!
@AussieGamr I’m hoping to be very active on multiplayer! I’m just hoping there’s enough there to keep a large audience interested so the online multiplayer can have a long life!
@F0XMcCIoud The stakes are also a lot higher. The apraoids did catastrophic damage to the Lylat System. Not to downplay the lylat wars but many missions take place in empty areas or in space and multiple missions in Assault are in populated areas. Makes total sense why he is more serious.
@THawkMedia The 64 timeline (64, adventures, assault, pick your command ending) works narratively.
Fleshing out the Lylat wars story in this new game could add some new story moments to start a new timeline where characters we know could show up in different way and that excites me!
@LylatArwing Best of both worlds. The new redesigns seem like we can get more complex and darker storytelling in the games going forward. They’re growing on me everyday! The games being successful also make it more likely we also get more with Fox from the SMG movie.
@DreamyWeegee As a lifelong star fox fan we’re the only fanbase that gets nothing to eat for 10 years and rejects food when it’s offered to us. I would’ve preferred a new story too but I’m not letting that get in the way of my desire to see the franchise return. Make Nintendo make more SF!
@Jplaysnintendo What worries me is if the crowd that’s unhappy about the retelling of SF64 or the character redesigns skips out on this entirely and Nintendo puts the franchise back on the shelf. I agree with you though. Both new and old fans should be excited!
