Figuring out

[Gotham Sleeps @gothamSleeps]

@cricbuzz Axar Patel!

[Gotham Sleeps @gothamSleeps]

Axar Patel, the all-rounder. He is so freaking underrated. Man deserves a lot more appreciation. He is such an intelligent bowler. Varies the pace, length and thinks what the batsman will do all the time. Probably the best finger spinner in the world in T20I format. He's such an upgrade over... iykyk🌝

And then his fielding. Man is such a safe, safe fielder. Remember the Mitch Marsh catch in the 2024 t20 world cup. And I don't care what anyone else says but his fielding won us the 2026 semifinals against England. Even more so than Bumrah's bowling.

He's such a capable batter too. He literally saved us in the 2024 finals with his fifty.

Man needs more fans. More hype and more appreciation.

I couldn't care less about his numbers in the ongoing series🤷

I used to be so emotionally attached to Cricket. Now, Ind vs Wi 4th T20i is going to start in few hours and I am not even remotely interested.

I did detach thanks to all the heartbreaks it has given me over the years. My first heartbreak was the champion's trophy final back in 2017.

Ind v Pak it was and we had already steam-rolled them in the league stage. Remember those hattrick of sixes from Pandya against Imad Wasim and the last ball from Virat. It did rain and we won the match comfortably. I thought finals will also be like that. Enter Fakhar Zaman. And enter M Amir. Fakhar always had a great record against India. He did have luck going his way and that famous no-ball from Bumrah, remember. We had a tall ask and amir just went through our batting. Man, what a swing bowler he was. I vividly remember how Kohli got out. He was dropped in the slips off amir and the very next ball, he got caught at point. We lost badly and that broke my heart, first of many!!

What were you doing during that match?

@Whomujtaba1 Hello

Seeing Cummins smash 32*(12) in the ongoing AUS vs SA Test match reminds me of his IPL fifties against CSK and MI. In that CSK match, he took down Sam Curran (in the over right after that famous Russell dismissal), and against MI, he recorded the then-fastest IPL fifty. What a freaking cricketer!! He is HIM.
