@random_asteroid a UTI can spread to the kidneys and cause sepsis so definitely serious in some cases yes, my mum was in hospital for over a week bc of one ! a high fever, nausea or back / side pain etc alongside a UTI is usually a cause for concern if they don’t go away or get worse
