Two of my boys play three sports.
The biggest problem is see is that coaches from each sport don’t work together to provide at least some down time between each sport, especially at small schools. I have saw many overuse injuries.

Putting your kids in the position to get recruited should be a goal along with winning. Good coaches can do both. A coach can determine some aspects of a kids recruitment process it’s not all on the player.
