Spring season is officially underway, and there’s still time to join us. At Girls on the Run (grades 3–5) and Heart & Sole (grades 6–8), girls build confidence, strengthen friendships, and learn they can handle hard things. Team rosters lock March 15. https://t.co/Ao5EoIzjyA.
We hope these days give you space to recharge, share time with those who matter, and enjoy the traditions that make the season meaningful.
Thank you for being part of our community and the impact we make together!
#HappyHolidays#GirlsOnTheRunDC#GOTRDC#CommunityStrong
Connection is what brings people together and keeps communities strong. During the holiday season, we’re wishing you and your loved ones moments of rest, laughter, and togetherness.
If you’re able, consider making a gift today to ensure even more girls experience confidence, connection, and resilience through Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole, across all eight wards of DC and Prince George’s County, MD. https://t.co/AnPe0r7uGQ.
Every season, our participants find their voices: raising their hands, sharing their ideas, and taking on challenges that once felt out of reach. Through our programming, girls are encouraged to try new things and speak up for themselves, even when it feels uncomfortable.
And as year-end giving continues through December 31, we’re grateful to move forward with this momentum and continue uplifting the girls we serve. Thank you for your tremendous support.

We are thankful for the generosity and encouragement our community shared on Giving Tuesday yesterday. Because of you, even more girls in across DC and Prince George's County, MD will have access to programs that help them grow and shine.
No matter the amount, your gift helps open the door for a girl who’s ready to grow, shine, and discover her limitless potential.
Let’s make the next 24 hours count for her. Thank you for your support. https://t.co/AnPe0r7uGQ.
It’s Giving Tuesday. Today, we’re rallying our community to help more girls access the life-changing confidence, connection, and joy that come from our programs.
Last season, more than 70% of our program participants receive scholarship support—because every girl deserves a place on the team, no matter her financial situation. If our mission has ever inspired you, today is a wonderful time to take action.
Give early and help us kick off Giving Tuesday on December 2 strong, so more across all eight Wards of DC and parts of Prince George's County, MD can keep growing, leading, and shining.
Thank you for your support. https://t.co/AnPe0r7uGQ.

The starting line is where confidence takes off — and we felt that energy loud and clear at our recent 5K.
Every season, we see what happens when our community shows up: bold steps, new friendships, and girls who believe in themselves.
In fact, 95% of girls tell us they feel more confident because of our program. That confidence shouldn’t fade by age 9, and with your support, it won’t.
Work out. Lift up girls. Feel unstoppable.
