Azerbaijani club Sabah FC has written a historic chapter by surviving the play-offs to secure their first-ever appearance in the prestigious UEFA Champions League. However, while their footballing achievement is monumental, kit enthusiasts will notice something highly unusual about their wardrobe for Europe's biggest stage: their kits are heavily carried over from previous years.

Rather than receiving bespoke or updated designs for their historic European debut, Sabah FC is relying on standard catalog templates. Both the home and away shirts feature an incredibly simple construction based directly on the standard Nike Vapor IV 23-24 teamwear shirt. To complete the look, the club has simply applied their crest and the pink sponsor logos onto the blank canvas.

Sabah FC's home jersey takes kit longevity to an extreme level for a top-flight European participant. The predominantly black home shirt with striking pink accents was first introduced back in the 2023-24 campaign and has been carried over continuously ever since.
