@ReidOptionKC Cmon man. Bain and Tyson are there. You trade up for a position you develop great from the later rounds. There is not a justification for this.
@PearceandPierce@zackeisen21 FAU? CEH? Reaches that didn’t turn out? The biggest need on this defense was edge. Instead they go for corner which they seem to always get in the later rounds. Terrible process.
@priceacarter It’s becoming too much at this point. 1st Rd LT, 2nd Rd LG, 2nd round C (highest paid C), highest paid RG, 3rd highest cap hit on RT. Yes, PM15 needs protected. But still having to look at the position group in this draft is not a possibility until later rounds.
I was a patience guy to about game 8 this year. Once the Bills game hit and we saw all the flaws continue to hit with no change then I flipped pretty aggressively. The issue isn’t that we (or me specifically) are forgetting all the success prior. It’s that the offense is on a three year decline. Special teams seems to be getting worse. Defensive line doesn’t get better. Young guys don’t play much. Coaching issues and maximizing the talent on the roster. So it’s not just about this one year or the results, it’s that all the underlying issues that weren’t properly addressed caught up in a big way.
Brashard Smith and Jalen Royals getting a combined ZERO touches honestly feels like trolling at this point. Your current scheme isn’t successful enough to be this complicated. Simplify, streamline. Get the rooks on the field. Practice only says so much. Some players are gamers. Only one way to find out.
@SportsRadio810@RealMNchiefsfan People might be hating on Spags this season because of the personnel he’s been dealt, but he’s the only coach so far this season that has actually taken responsibility on real issues. Not the “yeah we’ve gotta get better at that” from the offensive side of the ball.
