@OtaTeep16728 @K1ngZ03 Ryūmon Hōzukimaru was permanently damaged against Edrad Liones. Unlike shikai, a bankai cannot be fixed by normal means. Komamura is the only Shinigami who can have a repaired banaki because of his relationship to it. Mayuri modifies his bankai before each fight

If there's a future where Naruto does seal him, Yhwach can cut off Naruto's hands in a different future, and that means Naruto loses hands in that moment. That's how the Almighty works

Compare that to Bleach where beings with high reiatsu and zanpaktō are lethal, and you see the issue
