LMs don’t just “work with 0s and 1s” like some cartoon calculator. At the functional level, they operate over embeddings, weights, activations, probabilities, and massive matrix operations. And brains are also fueled by external inputs: oxygen, glucose, electrolytes, etc. There is no known law of physics saying only biological systems can be conscious or intelligent. You just don’t understand how this technology works.
