One week in. What should next week cover?
1. Stopping scam calls
2. Credit freezes, step by step
3. Protecting your parents
4. Killing junk mail

@ConsterStJohn@GrokBot Love that. Did it get confirmations back from the sites? Asking because a lot of them make you click an email link before the removal actually goes through.
If your parents get a flood of scam calls and junk mail, their information is almost certainly on dozens of people-search sites.
Cleaning it up takes an afternoon.
It might be the best gift you give them this year.
@BikerSkinny That’s awful, and way more common than people think. These sites mash together records from people with the same name. Screenshot it, then request removal. If an actual background check ever shows it, you have legal rights to dispute it.
Honest question:
Have you ever searched your own name + city?
What was on there that surprised you most?
(Don't post the link. Just say what it showed.)
Most privacy guides are a list of 50 links and "good luck."
Go Unsearchable is a coach instead:
→ 5 questions, and it builds a plan around you
→ 15 to 60 minutes a day, in the right order
→ Direct links to every opt-out form
→ Reminders when sites list you again

Sunday reminder:
Your oldest email address is probably your biggest leak.
Check it free at Have I Been Pwned.
One 20-year-old address in the cleanup behind this account turned up in 32 breaches.
Removed from a people-search site.
16 days later, back on it.
That's a real case from the cleanup behind this account, and it's why one-time cleanups don't work. Getting off these sites isn't a task. It's maintenance.
So every removal in the app gets a re-check date.
