The fundamental paradox of the "guru" is that if they were so good at building businesses, then they would be building businesses. Not selling you courses on how you can build businesses.
It's been a long day of inactivity...
One thing that is running through my mind is how I will acquire clients and grow my business.
From now on, I'm going to post consistently in X and LinkedIn.
5 MVP mistakes that kill startups before they even launch. 🚫 (Spoiler: Overbuilding is #1)
Thread 👇
Mistake #1: Overbuilding.
When you pack your MVP with too many features, you risk losing focus. Remember: the goal is to learn from your users, not launch a perfect product. Keep it lean!
Mistake #2: Skipping real customer validation.
Before you build, talk to your target audience. Their insights can save you time, money, and energy. Validate early, validate often.
Mistake #3: Lack of a clear value proposition.
If your MVP doesn’t solve a specific problem or offer obvious value, early adopters won’t bite. Nail down your “why” before moving forward.
Mistake #4: Ignoring simplicity and user experience.
A cluttered, confusing interface turns off users fast. Focus on creating an intuitive design that’s easy to use from day one.
Mistake #5: Rushing to launch without testing.
Launching with bugs or a subpar experience can damage your brand’s reputation. Take the time to test, iterate, and ensure your MVP truly works.
Building a successful MVP is about learning, iterating, and evolving. What MVP lessons have you learned along your startup journey? Share your thoughts below!
