These are the words of @BJP4Bengal LoP @SuvenduWB. Comparing a democratically elected State Govt. to the Govt. of Bangladesh is plainly ANTI-NATIONAL. Let’s not forget, this is the same man who raised 'Hindustan Murdabad' slogans in public.

And before pointing fingers at Smt. @MamataOfficial, perhaps ask the @BJP4India-led NDA Govt. at the Centre to first answer the 5 questions raised by Shri @abhishekaitc. We’ll talk after that.

It has been over 55 DAYS since the PAHALGAM terror attack. It is deeply concerning that in a democracy neither the mainstream media, members of the opposition, nor the judiciary has stepped forward to raise these five critical questions before the Government of India. However, as a citizen committed to the nation’s well-being and as a public representative entrusted with accountability, I raise these five questions before the Government of India:

🔴 Border Breach and Civilian Casualties:

1. How did four terrorists manage to infiltrate the border and launch an attack that killed 26 innocent civilians? Where is the accountability for this massive breach in national security ?

🔴 Intelligence Failure and IB Chief’s Extension:

2. If this was an intelligence failure, why was the Intelligence Bureau Chief granted a ONE YEAR EXTENSION, that too barely a month after the attack? Why was he REWARDED RATHER THAN HELD ACCOUNTABLE ? WHAT IS THE COMPULSION ?
If the GoI can conveniently use PEGASUS spyware against opposition leaders(including me), journalists and even judges, what stops it from using the same tools against terrorist networks and suspects?

🔴 Status of the Terrorists:

3. Where are the FOUR TERRORIST responsible for this brutal, religion-based massacre? ARE THEY DEAD OR ALIVE ? If they have been neutralized, why has the government failed to make a clear statement? And if they haven’t, WHY IS THE SILENCE ?

🔴 PoJK and the CEASEFIRE COMPROMISE:

4. When will India reclaim Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK)? Why hasn’t the government officially responded to the U.S. President’s claim that he persuaded India into a ceasefire with promises of trade - Just as the nation stood together irrespective of their cast, creed religion and political affinity, celebrating the triumph of righteousness and saluting the valour and sacrifice of our armed forces? WHY WERE THE EMOTIONS OF 140 CRORE INDIANS DISREGARDED?
What led to such a compromise?

🔴 Global Diplomacy and Hypocrisy:

5. After reaching out to 33 COUNTRIES post-Pahalgam in the last one month, how many extended explicit support to India?

If we are truly a VISHWAGURU and the world’s fourth-largest economy, why did the IMF and World Bank approve $1 BILLION and $40 BILLION in financial assistance and long-term investments to PAKISTAN IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PAHALGAM ATTACK ? How did a nation repeatedly involved in cross-border terrorism not only escape global scrutiny but get rewarded ?

And more shockingly: Why was Pakistan appointed Vice-Chair of the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee barely a month later?

NB: Over ₹2000000000000 (TWO LAKH CRORES) has been spent on external affairs over the past 10 years. The Indian public deserves transparency, accountability and results- NOT SILENCE AND SPIN!

Deeply distressed by the tragic bridge collapse over the Indrayani River near Pune. The news that several tourists are feared to have drowned is heartbreaking. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief.

Most distressingly, another civil aviation tragedy reported today morning, this time from Uttarakhand, in the Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptakashi region. 7 people were on board in the helicopter including a child and the pilot, and there has been a reported crash with worst being feared by media. While we await the results of rescue and search operations, my prayers go out for each one on board.

Stunned and shocked by the series of disasters in recent times in railways, civil aviation, and now on roadways too.

Today's bridge collapse on the Indrayani river near Pune is feared to be having most tragic implications. Media have already been talking of several deaths in the bridge accident, while many more are still missing.

My sincere condolences to the families of all the deceased, even while we anxiously wait for survivors' reports. Let us pray for the survival of the victims of the accident.

Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore is not just Bengal’s pride- He is a towering figure of global civilization.

The shocking vandalism of Kobiguru’s ancestral home in Sirajganj, Bangladesh is an act of sheer barbarism that has deeply wounded the sentiments of millions.

This is not merely the defacement of a structure- It is a direct assault on our shared cultural heritage and the timeless ideals Tagore stood for. Such desecration cannot and must not be ignored.

I have written to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, urging immediate and strong diplomatic engagement with the Government of Bangladesh.

The perpetrators must be swiftly identified and brought to justice and firm steps must be taken to safeguard all sites of cultural and historical significance from such future violations.

Bengal will not tolerate any insult to its icons anywhere in the world.

Stunned and profoundly shocked to know of the most tragic Air India plane crash at Ahmedabad today. It is a most sad news for all of us, even while we anxiously wait for survivors details and pray for survival of all.

The crash during take- off of the London- bound plane has shaken and saddened me at my core. While we do not know exact figures, media reports indicate that there were 242 passengers in the plane. I am praying to God at this moment.

Congratulations to the young Indians/Bengalis who have made us proud in the world forum by their achieving a top rank in the extremely competitive international theoretical physics competition, called PLANCKS 2025! Three of the four boys in the winning team are from Bengal, and that makes the Bengal Government particularly elated. I congratulate all four young talents of our country for this unprecedented global achievement.

In the latest edition of PLANCKS 2025, at Barcelona, Spain, a team of undergraduate students from the Indian Institute of Sciences has achieved a remarkable global sixth-place finish. This represents the highest ranking ever achieved by an Indian team in PLANCKS.

The team consists of Simar Narula, Ritabrata Ghosh, Susmita Roy and Avik Das. Ghosh, Roy and Das have been boys from Bengal. Avik got excellent topper positions in our Madhyamik, Uccha Madhyamik and State Joint Entrance Examinations, while Ritabrata of Chakdaha has also been a consistent achiever like Susmita. They make us proud by their stupendous success in the stiff multi-nation cerebral competition.

I congratulate the caring parents/ guardians and our proud teachers also. Let our boys and girls bring more and more international laurels!

বিশ্বমঞ্চে মেধার কঠোর আন্তর্জাতিক পরীক্ষায় শীর্ষ স্তরের স্বীকৃতি ছিনিয��ে আনার জন্য অভিনন্দন জানাই জয়ী চার তরুণ ভারতীয়-বাঙালিকে। আন্তর্জাতিক তাত্ত্বিক পদার্থবিদ্যার এই কঠিন আন্তঃ-দেশ প্রতিযোগিতায় (PLANCKS 2025) সফল এই চার তরুণের দলে তিনজনই বাঙালি এবং বাংলার সরকার তাতে বিশেষভাবে আনন্দিত। চারজনকেই আমি এই অভূতপূর্ব বিশ্বস্তরের সাফল্য প্রাপ্তিতে অভিনন্দন জানাই।

পদার্থবিদ্যার এই জগৎজোড়া পরীক্ষার ২০২৫ সংস্করণটি (PLANCKS 2025) হয় স্পেনের বার্সিলোনায় এবং ইন্ডিয়ান ইনস্টিটিউট অফ সায়েন্সের এই তরুণ আন্ডারগ্র্যাজুয়েট শিক্ষার্থীরা সেই ��্রতিযোগিতায় বিশ্বে ষষ্ঠ স্থান অর্জন করেছে। এই সুকঠিন আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিযোগিতায় কোনও ভারতীয় শিক্ষার্থী দল এর আগে এতো ভাল ফল করেনি।

এই দলেই আছে সিমর নিরুলা, ঋতব্রত ঘোষ, সুস্মিত রায় এবং অভীক দাস। ঘোষ-রায়-দাসেরা আমাদেরই ছেলে। অভীক মাধ্যমিক, উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক ও রাজ্য জয়েন্ট এন্ট্রান্সে শীর্ষস্তরের সাফল্য পেয়েছিল। চাকদহর ঋতব্রত ও সুস্মিতও ধারাবাহিক সাফল্য পেয়েছে। এখন কঠিন আন্তর্জ��তিক মেধা প্রতিযোগিতায় এই বিপুল সাফল্য পেয়ে তারা আমাদের আরও গর্বিত করল।
