After attending 25+ DevOps interviews in the last 10 months, I learned one thing
If you can’t answer these, you’re not ready for a DevOps interview.
CI/CD & Jenkins:
• What are Jenkins agents, and how do they work?
• How do you trigger a pipeline on every Git push?
• What is an artefact repository, and why is it needed?
Docker:
• CMD vs ENTRYPOINT?
• How do you reduce Docker image size?
• How do you troubleshoot a restarting container?
Kubernetes:
• Pod vs ReplicaSet vs Deployment?
• What is a DaemonSet, and when do you use it?
• ConfigMap vs Secret?
• How does Ingress work?
Terraform:
• What happens during Terraform plan?
• Why is state locking important?
• Resource vs Data Source?
AWS:
• IAM User vs Group vs Role?
• How does Auto Scaling work?
• How does S3 versioning protect data?
• How does a Load Balancer distribute traffic?
Monitoring:
• What are Prometheus exporters?
• Counter vs Gauge vs Histogram?
• How does alerting work?
• Monitoring vs Observability?
SRE & Security:
• What are SLI, SLO, SLA and Error Budgets?
• How do you manage secrets securely?
• What is DevSecOps?
Don’t just memorize answers.
Understand the concepts. Build hands-on projects. Learn to explain them with real-world examples.
Save this before your next DevOps interview.
Hard work + smarts + domain knowledge = not enough anymore.
You need mental steel to survive.
Life is a game of Snakes & Ladders. Accept the falls, don’t get too emotional.
Tough times never last. Tough people do.

Whoever controls your money, controls your life.❤️
₹3 crore portfolio at 4% withdrawal = ₹1 lakh/month
Financial freedom is not about earning ₹5 lakh a month.
It is about reaching a point where your money can pay your bills even when you don’t work.
Money = Choices.
Choices = Freedom.

🚀 Want 1000+ Recruiter Actions on Naukri?
Comment “naukri” and I’ll share the exact free guide I used to achieve this.
Most engineers update their Naukri profile once…
and then wonder why no one contacts them.
But here’s the truth 👇
Naukri is still India’s #1 hiring engine, if you know how to game it.
And once you optimize it properly, your profile becomes a recruiter magnet.
Here are the 7 steps I’ll share inside the guide:
1. The exact profile title that triggers recruiter filters
2. How to craft a keyword-rich summary that ranks in top searches
3. A skills section format that boosts visibility by 2–3x
4. The job-role mapping trick no one uses
5. Resume structure that survives ATS + Naukri algorithms
6. Daily 3-minute profile hack that pushes you to the top
7. The alert settings that bring recruiters to you
Why am I sharing this for free?
Because most DevOps/Cloud/IT engineers don’t realise how much they’re losing by ignoring Naukri optimization. This guide fixes that permanently.
