A Freedom of Information request by Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy found that the UK government deleted every response submitted during the consultation used to help develop its new definition of “anti-Muslim hostility,” originally called “Islamophobia.”

This means the public cannot see who took part in the consultation or what they told the government.

The Free Speech Union, a British organization that campaigns against restrictions on free speech, says members of the government group drafting the definition had links to controversial Islamist organizations including the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), which a UK government review found was historically influenced and helped established by Muslim Brotherhood associates, and MEND, which the government has identified as part of an Islamist-led campaign against its Prevent counter-extremism program.

MCB and MEND have also previously campaigned for an official definition of Islamophobia. Critics therefore want the government to reveal whether either organization, or similar groups, helped shape the new definition.

The FSU fears the definition could be used to label legitimate criticism of Islam or Islamist extremism as anti-Muslim hostility, discouraging people from speaking openly.

The government is encouraging public bodies, charities and private organizations to adopt the definition.

Critics say Britain already has laws against religious hatred and discrimination and warn that the new definition could effectively create a de facto blasphemy rule protecting Islam from criticism.

Schools run by the Palestinian Authority used the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel as material for math lessons and school assemblies.

Just one week after October 7, a teacher at the PA-run Al-Kuwait Primary Mixed School asked nine-year-old students to create math problems based on the attack.

Children wrote questions such as: If Hamas's Al-Qassam Brigades fired 150 rockets per hour, how many would they fire in nine hours? Another asked how many “Jihad fighters” would enter Israeli communities if 150 were sent to each of nine communities.

Students were also encouraged to create equations about “martyrs,” including children. One asked how many child “martyrs” there would be after nine days if 150 died each day.

Teachers praised the work. Next to the child-martyr equation, one wrote: “Wonderful! Mercy and peace to the Martyrs of Gaza.” Another martyr-themed problem received: “Excellent! Champion!... Mercy and forgiveness to our Martyrs!”

Other PA schools held assemblies within days of October 7 where children read poems celebrating the attack.

More and more children are being killed in the gang wars in Sweden.

Both shooters and victims are now often aged between 13 and 18 years old.

This is a list of fifteen children aged between 4 and 16 that have been killed in grenade and shooting attacks by gangs in recent years:

1. Luna Mandic (4) in Gothenburg (2015)

Luna was killed alongside 3 adults when a remote-controlled car bomb exploded inside their vehicle. Police confirmed the bomb targeted a passenger heavily involved in Gothenburg's violent gang syndicates.

2. Yuusuf Warsame (8) in Gothenburg (2016)

A Somali-British boy visiting relatives on holiday. He died when a hand grenade was thrown through an open third-floor apartment window where he was sleeping. The attackers targeted the flat to strike a rival gang member.

3. Adriana Ostrowska (12) in Stockholm (2020)

Struck and killed by stray automatic weapon fire at a gas station while walking her dog. The drive-by shooters targeted rival gang members standing nearby.

4. Milo (13) in Stockholm (2023)

Reported missing and found dead days later in a forest patch with a gunshot wound to the head. Police established that the 13-year-old had been drawn into and subsequently purged during the violent internal split of the Foxtrot cartel.

5. Layth al-Azzawi (14) in Upplands-Bro (2023)

He had fled a state-run social care home and was recruited into a sub-faction of the Foxtrot network. Following an internal dispute, he was executed in a wooded area due to an alleged drug debt.

6. Mohamed Suleiman (14) in Nynäshamn (2023)

Heavily intertwined with Layth's case, Mohamed disappeared from a youth care facility, fell under the control of older gang handlers, and was executed in a forest south of Stockholm during the same internal Foxtrot network purge.

7. Ardiwan Diaa Samir (15) in Malmö (2012)

Ambushed and shot multiple times on a street right after midnight during New Year's celebrations. His death remains an unsolved cold case.

8. Robin Sinisalo (15) in Stockholm (2016)

Shot dead in broad daylight outside his apartment complex during a localized neighborhood drug feud. His brother was left severely injured

9. Ali (15) in Stockholm (2023)

Shot in the head at point-blank range inside a sushi restaurant by a 15-year-old contract killer acting on behalf of the Foxtrot network.

10. Cinar (15) in Stockholm (2023)

An innocent teenager caught entirely in the crossfire and killed when gang members armed with military assault rifles opened fire near a crowded subway plaza entrance in broad daylight.

11. Aiham Ahmad (15) in Uppsala (2025)

Shot in the head while sitting in a barber's chair. Aiham was a completely innocent student and McDonald's worker caught in the crossfire when a gunman tracked an adult rival into a hair salon.

12. Zayn (15) in Malmö (2026)

Shot dead in a residential entryway by a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy who approached disguised as a "love couple". Zayn had no criminal record and was targeted as a proxy strike by a Foxtrot faction to retaliate against a relative.

13. Ahmed Obaid (16) in Malmö (2017)

An innocent high school student shot dead at close range while waiting at a bus stop in broad daylight. He was killed due to a case of mistaken identity as he wore the same jacket as a gang member with a prize on his head.

14. Rio Berg Aygün (16) in Stockholm (2025)

Walking home from a local gym with friends when a 16-year-old contract killer emerged and opened fire. Subsequent court rulings confirmed Rio was a completely innocent student with no ties to gangs. The contract killer shot the wrong person by mistake.

15. Omar (16) in Uppsala (2025)

The second teenager wearing a barber cape executed alongside Aiham Ahmad inside the Uppsala hair salon when a gunman sprayed the room with automatic weapon bullets to kill an adult target.

Around 500 protesters, including many right-wing MEPs, gathered in solidarity with the Spanish autonomous city.

They called for a “zero illegal migration” policy and a stronger EU Return Regulation.

A 17-year-old Moroccan migrant was arrested for raping three girls aged 10 and 11 at a reception center for unaccompanied minors in Ceuta.

Both the suspect and the victims had recently crossed illegally into the Spanish enclave.

Spanish prosecutors say at least 23 sexual assaults have been recorded in Ceuta since the mass influx of illegal African migrants.

Three Syrian migrants, Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, Achmed Al Ali Alabd and Mohammad Al Aga Alabbas, who gang-raped an 18-year-old woman in Maastricht, the Netherlands, have asked to be released from prison, citing their young age, with one telling the court: “I came to this country to protect myself.” The court rejected their requests.

Foreign nationals accounted for nearly half of Spain’s rape convictions in 2025 despite representing just 14.1% of the population.

Of the 131 people convicted of rape, 64, or 49%, were foreign nationals.

Since 2017, African nationals have accounted for 21% of rape convictions despite comprising around 2.8% of the population.

Spain also recorded 6,111 people convicted of sexual offenses in 2025, up from 5,073 in 2024 and 2,764 in 2017. Foreign nationals accounted for 32% of the 2025 total.
