I extend my condolences to Suzanne and the Osmond family on the passing of one of the great visionary musicians of our time, Alan Osmond. He created the Freedom Festival, helping us become better patriots. His legacy is embodied in the lives of his children and grandchildren.

My love and condolences go out to the family of Tad R. Callister. I first met Elder Callister as a new missionary in the Eastern States mission. He picked me up from the airport and began teaching me and continued to teach me throughout his remarkable life. He will be missed.

Jeanette and I want extend our deepest condolences to Charlie Kirk's family and his team in the wake of his tragic death today. This senseless act of violence violates the core principles of our Constitution and who we are as a community. We condemn this and all acts of violence

against those who exercise their constitutional rights for free speech. We will take the time to reflect and process today’s events, but we must recommit to honoring free speech, and doing more to respect civility, despite our differences. Our prayer is that we will rise above
