@TheHeadsOffice Share yr pain! Forever reminding self am at 'toddler stage' of acquisition. Ability 2 spontaneously find/pronounce right words, right grammar from 'soup of words' in head taking time but coming. Lots & lots of comprehensible input & mutually invested natives has helped no end

@TheHeadsOffice Doing it now. Spanish from 0. Duolingo, only to start. LOTS of listening thru immersion platforms Utube, videos, podcasts. Reading n/paper articles. Some drills. Now speaking with natives via conversation exchange. 7mths in & easy understanding/being understood in simple convos.

@NGAMedia @NGAEmmaK A simple thing you can do 2 continue supporting the professionalisation of this role. Make it easy & affordable for independent GPs/services to access reliable advice (or more often back up!) when they need it without relying on their school/trust having subscribed to gold line

Also a shame that as @NGAmedia have quite rightly been so vocal in 'bigging up' the role over time, they won't support services or individuals by making gold line available to them independently of schools/trusts. Happy to pay and had conversations and but has gone nowhere.
