@WeirdMedieval They didn't invent a font. They developed and wrote in a 'hand' (or script). A font is a particular size/weight/style (e.g. 12pt bold italic) of a typeface (e.g. Helvetica). One thing is handmade, the other is mechanical/digital. Both beautiful but not the same

Eisteddfod yr Urdd is Europe's largest Youth Festival. The Festival is a celebration of the Welsh language, culture and the wealth of young talent in Wales today. This piece of calligraphy will be auctioned off to raise money towards the Eisteddfod.

At the end of last year I was commissioned to write out this poem, written by Alan Llwyd, composed for the upcoming #Eisteddfod yr Urdd (Youth Eisteddfod), which will be held in Margam Park in May.
