@McPrutser I hadn't noticed at the time, as I was concentrating on the adorable antics of the youngster, but I can't edit the post unfortunately. It's actually a young (possibly 1 yr old) buck, as it doesn't have full-sized antlers, so won't be the dad, just interested in all the fun! ๐
WOW!! ๐ This little Roe Deer fawn had been playing for a while, having the time of it's life! I just stood still, quietly watching in awe from the edge of the field, when it ran right up to me!! AMAZING!! It's mum kept a very close eye on it, and decided I wasn't a threat. ๐ฅฐ
@RoeDeerDiary Yes I hadn't noticed that at the time either, as I was so obsessed with the youngster, & I don't think I can edit the post now. There were no other obvious adults in that field, and the youngster kept running back to this other deer. Other deer were in the wider area though.
