Sugar is a political commodity
Almost all politicians or their relatives are in this business. In maharashtra almost 100% is politically controlled
Ethanol is a political business aimed to make money for all politicians for which they all have planned since year 2005 and not today (all political party) that is also a reason why congress or no party speaks on it as they themselves make loads of money + black to white conversion in paying for raw cane
Sugar is not only sugar but molasses also that goes to liquor making and now ethanol. Dont look at the financial results of these sugar companies as they always looks bad bcoz most of the trade is out of the books and is huge cash making business
Every politician desires a sugar factory if they don’t have one
Yes ethanol saves lot of forex which is true and theme sold is deshbakthi by them to common people. People as usual are naive they think they are sacrificing for nation but their expense is making money for select parts and mla’s of country.
If it was for deshbakti then why dont all politicians and neta donate all this funds making from sugar mills to NGO’: s and help more in developing nation by saving forex and increasing standard. But they wont ? Right ?
You as a citizen of country can’t do anything in it no matter how many videos you make or tweet.
I Know its not ideal for any country but this is reality
supreme court also rejected it recently as no judge would want to stand against all political party without any support from any other as none is left
What you can do in it ? Nothing
Earn money and pay for it. They will siphon off in some or other way. So make more money so as even after their indirect theft you progress.
Dear Supreme Court of India,
140 crore Indians are busy earning money and taking care of their families. They do not have the time, money or power to fight the Government. That is why people look towards the Supreme Court for justice.
Please do not wait until it is too late.
Every day E20 petrol is being promoted across the country. People are told it is completely safe. Ministers openly say, "Show me one vehicle anywhere in the world that had problems because of E20." But in the Supreme Court, the Government says E20 is still under study and the final results will come next year.
How can both be true?
If the study is not over, why is E20 being pushed on the whole country?
If everything is already proved, why tell the Supreme Court that the study is still going on?
Why are people not given the choice to buy normal petrol?
Why should 140 crore Indians become part of something that is still being studied?
The Government has all the power. People cannot leave their jobs, spend years in court and fight the Government. That is why the Supreme Court was made, to protect the common people when nobody else can.
Please ask one simple question.
If E20 is still under study, why is it being forced on the people?
Indian citizens are not for testing. Our vehicles, our hard earned money and our daily lives should not be put at risk without giving us a choice.
Our car, which we bought with our hard-earned money, paid so many taxes on over the years and maintained with love and care, is now being used as an experiment by government.
This whole ethanol policy was nothing but a major psyop, setting a dangerous precedent.
Brazil was one of the first countries to widely adopt E100 fuel, but it later shifted to a flex-fuel system. We should have at least learned from the challenges Brazil faced before pursuing a similar path.
>Crop prices increased.
>Less land was available for food crops.
>Soil degradation
>Water resources were depleted and polluted.
>Cold-start issues affected vehicles
>Ethanol delivered lower mileage than petrol.
>Ethanol shortages occurred during poor harvests.
>Fuel prices became more volatile.
>Biodiversity suffered due to agricultural expansion.
>Dependence on a single crop increased economic risk.
>Food security concerns grew.
>Ethanol production competed with food production.
>Seasonal fluctuations affected ethanol availability.
It would usually be adada Mazhai da and minnale intro but in the past year every time I have gone on long drives there is always heavy rains or snowstorms leaving me driving like this 😭
